Worcester is a cathedral city in Western England, and is the county town of Worcestershire. The city is famous for its cathedral, Worcester or Worrcestershire sauce and Royal Worcester porcelain. The town is also known for its cricket and rugby teams. In 2005 the Worcester College of Higher Education became the University of Worcester.
I was born in the neighbouring county of Herefordshire although Bromyard, the town where I lived from 10 years old, is equidistant from Worcester and Hereford. The public bus service no. 420 runs between Worcester and Hereford and stops in Bromyard.
