Toyah was a British new wave band fronted by Toyah Willcox, active between 1977 and 1983.
The name of the band and the singer/founder are often confused, not helped by the fact that images of the rest of the band rarely figured in photos, sleeve artwork etc. The only other consistent band member was guitarist Joel Bogen who also co-wrote songs with Willcox.
