Depeche Mode Some Great Reward

Some Great reward is the title of the fourth studio album by British group Depeche Mode. It was released on Mute records on 24 September 1984. It was the group's third album since the departure of Vince Clarke and the second to feature Alan Wilder as full band member. The album was recorded at Music Works London and [Hansa]] Mischraum in Berlin (then West Berlin), where it was also mixed. It was produced by Daniel Miller, Depeche Mode and Gareth Jones.

Of the nine tracks on the album, eight were written by Martin Gore (listed as M.L. Gore), while If You Want was written by Alan Wilder.

The album was preceded by the singles People Are People, which reached no.4 in the UK and Master and Servant which reached no.9. The album itself also reached no.5 in the UK, staying in the Top 40 for four weeks. A third single, a double A side Somebody (remix) / Blasphemous Rumours was also lifted from the album reaching no.16 in the UK.
